Do you think this is too cheesy? Kind of long, sorry.?

Aww! Some of your similes were off (the lost in the city/losing in the lottery thing is worded weirdly), but I thought it was cute. I was expecting something sickly sweet, but I do not think it's too cheesy. I liked it. =)
