What are some hair products that can prevent hair shedding for both natural and weaving hair?

My weave keeps shedding when I comb it, so I will like to know what are some hair products to prevent it. I used oil sheen, but I dont want my hair to look oily and too thin. Is it the hair itself? I will like to know what to do.
