Boyfriend ISSUES! His major downfalls are that HE'S SMALL and watches cartoons.?

I've been dating this guy for a few months. I like him a lot, but tend to allow my hormones to point me to other guys because I'm ually unhappy. Not to mention the fact that he is addicted to kiddie cartoons (seriously). He watches nothing else. I've tried talking to him about trying new and different things, but he doesn't seem to grasp the concept. My kids adore him, he's goal oriented, and he's stable. I really don't want to mess up a good thing but is important to me. The fact that he watches nothing other than Gummie Bears, Gargoyles, Smurfs, etc. and calls movies like Apocalypto and Meet Joe Black are stupid, can slightly be overlooked. What should I do?
